Rat run for traffic from Northern Distributor.

Rat run for traffic from the Northern Distributor road. School children need to cross and it is very busy. Very dangerous, lolly pop lady is not there at all the times that children need to cross.

Some kind of walk nearer the River Wensum would be lovely. We have this lovely river but the land is all privately owned and fenced off - no one can walk near the river - such a shame.

Taverham Lane/Costessey Road - there is no path. A path is needed as Taverham and Costessey route is walked by lots of people but you have to go on the road. This route is also used by many cyclists - commuters, school children and leisure ... [more]

There is no footpath on this section of road so people squeeze along a narrow verge. A footpath could be installed to connect the footpaths either side of this section of road.

No footpath one side and not wide enough. Cyclists use pavement as road doesn’t feel safe.

This is going to be a cycleway. It's 50mph unlit narrow slightly bendy road. Deathtrap.

There is no pavement linking the house on Broad Lane with the pavement that begins at Water Lane/Hospital Road. There are numerous families living on Broad Lane all of whom have to drive to Little Plumstead school, or try to brave what amou ... [more]

Coming out from Norwich, it is very unclear how you are supposed to turn left to join the track the runs alongside the NDR. Improved signage or a new crossing needed.

Segregated cycle lane on Reepham Road is badly needed.

Segregated cycle lane needed from Hellesdon Bridge to Middletons Lane. Cycling on the road is extremely dangerous.

Since building of the Northern Distributor Route (or as recently renamed the Broadland North Way) and subsequent loss of many other through routes, Drayton Wood Road (an estate road) has become a significant rat run as it connects two artie ... [more]

This road has been seriously abused since the completion of the NDR. 900% traffic increase. The road is heavily used by commuting children to 4 schools. Someone will get killed if nothing is done.

Hospital Lane + Low Road have far too much traffic to safely cycle.

Cycle Superhighway between city centre and NDR along Aylsham Road would be ideal

Footpath turns into nothing for a short distance at a busy junction.

Cycle way with poor surface and large gate, with access past gate over even worse surface.

Push through traffic off of this road to create a long quiet year-round route from Earlham to Drayton. Marriotts way is good, but often dark, muddy, covered in large fallen branches, or full of puncture-causing thorns. This road shouldn't b ... [more]

Put some barriers up here, stop rat-running through to Drayton. Marriotts way to the West is often unusable in winter, this would make a usable alternative.

There needs to be a pavement on at least one side of the B1150 for walkers to connect to Crostwick - Spixworth

There needs to be a roundabout or lights here. The B1150 is a fast road and it's difficult to turn right from Crostwick Lane. In addition, it dangerous at times crossing the road from Rackheath Lane to Crostwick Lane

The footpath is set on the flood wall which is only 300mm wide. Clearly an error on the definitive map but it needs rectifying!

From here looking east you can see 40, 30, 20 and national speed limit signs, plus proliferation of street furniture

There's the bare bones of a cyclepath along here, but needs cutting / sweeping and "Cycle Path" signage.

Cycling on the road to Dinosaur Roar is incredibly dangerous- it is a narrow B road used by big lorries. It would be good to link the nearby cycling route on the old railway line to this family park. Please put in a pavement for walking and ... [more]

Safe routes for children going to Thorpe St Andrew school

Path required along Green Lane to join Thorpe End with the NDR path on Middle Road

I walk between Thorpe End and Rackheath with two large dogs and it is very dangerous with no pavement from Thorpe End Village Hall to the railway crossing.

Small link required to make path and cycle ways along the NDR accessible to Thorpe End and Thorpe St Andrew residents.

There is no cycle way from village hall till after you cross the railway lines and then you have. Needs a cyclway to access it

There is no path or cycle way from the village hall to the railway line. Once over the line the path and cycle way starts.

There is no footpath between Thorpe End and the footpath/cycleway at the railway crossing. This would create a safe links for pedestrians between Thorpe End and Rackheath

A main route for many children to get to and from school with no suitable pavement nor lighting especially dangerous in the winter months

Make this a quiet lane for walking and cycling

A bit of paving south of the roundabout would let cyclists traverse from the park and ride entrance road to Oaks Lane without crossing the hazardous roundabout

Particularly dangerous spot. Cars always parked outside garage just where cycles and cars converge just past lights

Segregated cycleway required for primary school children. No parking for vehicles within 50 metres of school entrance.

Segregated cycleway required. Speed limit reduction to 20 mph. Double yellow lines required to avoid dangerous parking on narrow road and slow bend.

Small section between villages where cars speed due to downhill gradient. Speed limit reduction required.

Surface not suitable for young children. Widening would also help

There are beautiful new cyclepaths between the NDR/A140 roundabout and the surrounding villages - but it is totally useless for safe commuting as the section up to the Middletons Lane/ Amsterdam Way is dominated by multiple traffic lanes fo ... [more]

Really dangerous road with no path or cycleway. No safe path to get to Thorpe from Thorpe End

There's no path from Thorpe End to get to new paths beyond the railway crossing

Crossing of the A1270 is very difficult and potentially dangerous. A foot / cycle bridge is really needed.

Busy road too dangerous to cycle, needs dedicated cycle way

Busy road too dangerous to cycle, needs dedicated cycle way

Right turn lane for southbound traffic turning right into Crown Road with pedestrian refuges each end. Put a pavement round the old Crown Pub

Formalise cycle path to have a good link between Hevingham Fox and Parish Road. This will enable cyclists to get more safely from the village to a quiet backroads route to Norwich.

Very poor surface.

Very short cyclepath/pedestrian route needed from the eastern Beeston Road junction to Church Lane. The latter is closed to motor vehicles so is a safe route into the city from the cycle route following the NDR. The alternative of using the ... [more]

Unpleasant fast B road for entry to Wroxham and further

Speed limit required along this road, and all the other country lanes. Plus 20mph in residential areas

Provide free parking at Railway, Dunkirk, St Michaels. Close town centre and pedestrianise Red Lion st, Market Place and Penfold st. Access only. Deliveries before 0800hrs.

Very narrow foot paths or none on each side of Norwich Road. 2m widecpath on each side of road to access shops and supermarket.

Designated cycle route with cycle separation through pinch points in both directions from Town Centre to roundabout at A140 junction

Link Aylsham Town Center to Roundabout and existing cycle path to Marsham.

Widen to 2m from Jctn Sir Williams Lane to Norwich Road.

There is a huge gap from the cycle way from Horsford and Horsham St Faith to link with Norwich Please place a cycleway along the A140 from the A1270 to the City Centre.

Path\cycle path is too narrow with blind corners. Not enough space for two people to pass safely.

The cycleway doesn't connect with the Sloe Lane junction forcing cycles onto the road momentarily going N, even worse coming S.

There are always cars parked on this cycleway on both sides, rendering it practically useless as cyclists have to wait to join the main traffic lane to pass parked vehicles
